Spring cleaning. Ug.

Every spring, I tell myself I’m going to clean the house like I’m going to move.

Then I do something more fun.

Anything is more fun… but I’m slowly making progress. When I made the #switchtosafer in my bathroom, I cleaned out all the half used products that I discovered not only did I not like them enough to use them originally, they were full of unregulated and potentially harmful ingredients.

Now, everything in my bathroom has a purpose. It comes in chic, sustainable packaging. It’s been tested for safety. It’s the one room in my house I feel good about every time I walk into it.

Our choices matter. Throwing stuff out can be hard, and I usually feel guilty adding to the landfill, but I’m convinced that when I get a handle on my current situation, my impact will be less going forward. The choices I make today will make a difference tomorrow.

What choices are you making now that will matter tomorrow?
