One of the things that makes efficient travel really possible is high quality, multi use items. Classic dark wash jeans, white shirts (though now most traveling is done with a toddler, so not so much...). My skincare is no exception.
Busy is a mindset. Busy is not an end goal. Being more stressed than your co-workers doesn't make you a better employee. It doesn't make you happier. Taking time to organize your life, take care of yourself and see the forest for the trees lets you keep that vacation feeling all year long.
Then I realized traditions are routines. This trip is just as important as potty training. Her spending time with her grandparents in the same way her dad was raised- experiencing the same places, tastes and sounds is important. We might lose a little potty progress, but we're gaining a foundation on which we can build a strong sense of family. Of tradition.
