Phthalates: A Closer Look

Some people are wary- all this talk about chemicals in our products must be overblown.

Is it? Watch this short video:

This is from the European Council Plasticisers and Intermediates. Naturally, this video is positive. But notice is makes no mention of cosmetics or personal care products. It specifically says Phthalates are safe when combined at high heat with other chemicals.

Consider this video:

If you can use phthalate free products that are just as effective as chemical laced products, why wouldn’t you?

If baby toys can only contain 0.1% of phthalates, why do some cosmetics still contain up to 3%?
