It’s been a spring of new beginnings. I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting, doing yoga, playing with my toddler and generally unwinding from a very stressful winter. It’s been scary and refreshing at the same time.
I know we’re not all in the position to take a big chunk of time off, but thanks to my partnership with Beautycounter, I can work my business and still live a life. I’m staying connected with an amazing group of advocates and making a difference for those around me. It also leaves me time to spend outside when it’s nice, catch up with folks when it’s cold and rainy (this spring has proven abundant with cold and rainy).
Look, even if it’s only a few minutes a day, spend some time this spring just being you. Do whatever you want. Eat your favorite snack, watch a silly show, walk around your house or block. The re-centering on what makes you happy, if only for a little bit, will ultimatley lead to a healthier and happier life.
