I'm not going to lie- being a stay at home Mompreneur can be lonely. As much as I love my daughter and the freedom to set my own hours, spending long stretches with someone who is speaking in rudimentary sentences tough.
I am also setting office hours to better serve you and your hustle. With an eye for detail, a passion for blogging and writing, and a keen desire to use social media to foster connections, let's chat about how I can best serve you.
So get outside today. Leave your phone on the counter. Go for a walk. Listen to your own thoughts. Follow your heart. Listen to what thoughts bubble to the surface. You have the answers you need, now it's time to act.
Now, the second option is not quite as restorative for me, but it's great mother daughter time. It's good for her to see Mom exercising, even if she doesn't understand. It's important as a mom to not lose sight of who you are. You take on a new identity, but it doesn't have to replace your previous identity.
Then I realized traditions are routines. This trip is just as important as potty training. Her spending time with her grandparents in the same way her dad was raised- experiencing the same places, tastes and sounds is important. We might lose a little potty progress, but we're gaining a foundation on which we can build a strong sense of family. Of tradition.
