How can so much love be contained in just one picture?
It’s moments like these that my desire to do everything I can to make the world a better place for my daughter overwhelms me. It sets my soul on fire. #thistimeitspersonal.
It’s ridiculous that only about 20% of the 80,000+ chemicals used in personal care and cosmetics have ever been tested for safety. These are not just products I’m putting on my own skin, but products I’m using on my family.
Look, my mom went through a smoking phase in the 70s. She never smoked in front of me. Her mom smoked back when it was “good for you.” Guess what- we know better now. I don’t smoke, and even if I did, I wouldn’t smoke with my daughter in the car with the windows closed. I know better now. I’m not going to expose myself to known carcinogens in my products and I’m not going to slather them all over my family either.
Know better, do better.
I’m going to work every day to improve the regulations and teach others how to choose safer products. I’m going to leave a legacy for my daughter. What are you going to do to make a difference?
