Sunscreen Safety

I'll admit, I wasn't always perfect about sunscreen. I'm not a tanner exactly, though who doesn't love relaxing in the sun with a good book and maybe a fun beverage. I always tried to avoid farmer's tan and goggle tan, but I wasn't perfect about sunscreen on average days. I'm still not perfect- no one is- but I've learned a lot about safer sunscreen and safer sun use.

Safer Sun

Before we hit the pool, we hit the sunscreen. We lathered up with Beautycounter's Protect All Over Sunscreen and put the Protect Stick in my pocket to reapply as needed. Two hours in the sun and the pool and not even the slightest bit pink- you can have safer products that are high performing too!

Greenwashing

It's a good news, bad news situation. On the one hand, conventional companies are hearing us. On the other, they're adding some "organic" or "natural" ingredients and calling it a green product.
